National Integrity System
The National Integrity System (NIS) assessments offer a detailed diagnosis of each country’s institutional strengths and weaknesses in safeguarding integrity and preventing corruption. But real impact comes through implementation.
This platform tracks the progress made on key NIS recommendations across the Western Balkans and Türkiye produced under the project Citizen engagement for public integrity (CEPI). It monitors whether governments and institutions are taking action to address critical reform areas - transparency, accountability, justice and anti-corruption enforcement - across 15 NIS pillars.
For each recommendation, you’ll find its current implementation status (fully, partly, not implemented or no data), backed by evidence and a short explanation. This information supports advocacy, encourages accountability and helps keep reform commitments on track.
