National Integrity System Germany, Short Version
This report provides a broad overview of anti-corruption efforts in Germany. 13 areas or institutions (‘pillars’) are analysed in terms of their legal and de facto structures, resources and measures for preventing and repressing corruption. In the Federal Republic of Germany, all the analysed areas and institutions at government level and within society came out at the top end of the NIS assessment system. In spite of the overall good to very good situation, Transparency Germany sees opportunities for improvement and requirements for action in the sectors and institutions analysed.
