Transparency International marks 20 years of fighting corruption
Integrity Awards presentation to follow conference
Transparency International will mark its 20th anniversary on Friday, 8 November with a one-day conference On Transparency and Integrity Awards ceremony, focusing on the road ahead in the global fight against corruption.
Transparency International will bring together representatives of international organisations, the private sector and civil society to share and discuss ways to deepen and continue the anti-corruption movement.
After opening comments from Huguette Labelle and Peter Eigen, Chair and Founder of Transparency International respectively, there will be several panel discussions covering a wide range of topics including the importance of transparency, the fight against poverty and sustainability.
Following the conference, the Integrity Awards ceremony will acknowledge and celebrate the efforts made by courageous individuals to stop corruption. The 2013 winners will be announced at the ceremony. Information about the awards and previous winners can be found here.
