MEDIA ADVISORY: Transparency International assesses disclosures by worlds biggest telecoms companies

Transparency International will publish on 24 November the first-ever assessment of the transparency in corporate reporting by the 35 largest telecommunications companies, including service providers and equipment manufacturers.

Transparency in Corporate Reporting: Assessing the World’s Largest Telecommunications Companies will rank the companies based on their reporting of the measures they take to prevent corruption, information about subsidiaries and holdings, and key financial information including payments abroad. This information allows the public to hold these companies to account for their actions.

The report follows previous Transparency in Corporate Reporting rankings of the world’s largest corporations and large emerging market companies.
