Media advisory: Transparency International to publish Asia Pacific corruption poll on 7 March

The report will look at how many people have paid a bribe and whether corruption has increased in the region

Transparency International will publish on 7 March the results of a public opinion poll about people’s experiences and perceptions of corruption in 16 countries and territories in the Asia Pacific region.

For the survey, Transparency International spoke to nearly 22,000 respondents across the region about whether corruption has increased and which institutions are considered most corrupt in their country. It also asks if people have paid a bribe in the past 12 months and to whom.

This new survey follows previous editions of the Global Corruption Barometer, last published in 2013.
