Agenda for 19th International Anti-Corruption Conference now available

Registration open for first ever online version, hosted by the Republic of Korea, 30 November – 5 December

The 19th International Anti-Corruption Conference has announced its line-up of workshops, plenaries, awards and film screenings, under the theme Designing 2030: Trust, Truth and Transparency. The world’s largest independent forum for anti-corruption will be held online for the first time, free and open to all, and is hosted by the Republic of Korea from 30 November to 5 December 2020 (Opening Ceremony on 1 December).

Over 100 thematic workshops and plenary sessions will discuss pressing issues in the fight against corruption, including the rise of populist and authoritarian regimes, the challenges of exposing the truth, vicious cycle of dirty money and impunity, investigative journalism during the COVID-19 pandemic, integrity in climate action, youth and activism, the challenges of political finance, and many more topics. 

The 19th IACC will also be the first global event to discuss the implications of the recent US elections on good governance, democracy and human rights around the world.

The awards ceremony for the 2020 Anti-Corruption Awards, which honour remarkable individuals and organisations worldwide who expose and fight corruption, will take place on Wednesday 2 December, 14:00 – 16:00 CET.

The Films for Transparency festival will present an on-demand programme of eight compelling documentaries about corruption and social injustice. Live Q&A sessions will be available during the conference.

The Fair Play Anti-Corruption Music Awards will introduce this year’s winners on Monday 30 November 18:00 - 19:00 CET and present online performances throughout the conference.
