Android app for reporting corruption in Republic of Macedonia now available in Albanian

Prijavi Korupcija, the most innovative platform helping citizens in the fight against corruption in the Republic of Macedonia, has published an Albanian language version of its mobile app for Android phones. The app is already available in Macedonian and English language versions.

The app allows users to report cases of corruption, which are checked by the Transparency International Macedonia team and when validated published online at www.prijavikorupcija.org. Users can also view reported cases, categorized by the type of case reported and by geographic area. The app is the first of its kind in the Balkans and in Europe. No private information supplied by the reporting party is made available to the public.

PrijaviKorupcija.org (http://www.transparency-watch.org/ ) is a joint project by Transparency International Macedonia and the Center for International Relations (Washington DC). It allows citizens to report cases of corruption via ONE (a mobile operator) by sending an SMS from their mobile phones, sending an email, using a web form, tweeting using the hashtag #korupcijaMK, or by reporting by phone using this app.

The app is available for download here at Google Play.

A similar app will soon be available for iPhone users.
