TI Czech Republic appeals for the immediate investigation of serious cases of potential corruption

Transparency International Czech Republic (TI CZ) works on a long term basis on many serious cases that potentially represent huge financial losses for Czech public budgets. TI CZ has recently analyzed several cases: the allegedly fraudulent restitution of gardens that belong to a children’s home in Krč, an inspection report on Homolka Hospital, a contract for security at ammunition depots issued by the national Ministry of Defense, and a public tender for refuse collection in a small city called Nejdek, worth half a billion Czech crowns.

All these cases are extremely serious, therefore TI CZ has decided to appeal to the Prime Minister and other ministers with open letters calling for these cases to be thoroughly investigated and for the appropriate actions to be taken.
