New report: Lobbying in Europe: Hidden Influence, Privileged Access to launch 15 April
Transparency International, the leading civil society organisation fighting corruption worldwide, will release the first ever comprehensive assessment on lobbying in Europe, “Lobbying in Europe: Hidden Influence, Privileged Access”, on Wednesday, 15 April at 10:00 Brussels time.

The report assesses how well political decision-making is protected from undue influence in 19 European countries as well as the European Commission, the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union. The countries assessed are: Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
The launch includes a press conference in Brussels at 10:00 followed by a policy debate later in the day.
