16th International Anti-Corruption Conference to be held in Malaysia
The International Anti-Corruption Conference Council and Transparency International announced today that the 16th edition of the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) will take place in Malaysia, from the 2nd-4th September 2015.
The Conference will be jointly hosted with the Government of Malaysia, the National Anti-Corruption Commission, and the Malaysian Society for Transparency and Integrity (TI Malaysia).
The International Anti-Corruption Conference is the world's largest forum for bringing together leaders from the public and private sectors, civil society, international organisations, media and young people to discuss the increasingly sophisticated challenges posed by corruption.
The 16th conference programme theme will focus on “Ending Impunity: People, Integrity, Action.” The IACC team is currently finalising the plenary session design and the session proposal shortlist for workshops.
Originally planned for October 2014, in Tunis, Tunisia, the 16th Conference was postponed until 2015. The original postponement announcement can be read here.
Transparency International is the secretariat to the IACC Council.
