Lisa joined Transparency International’s Asia Pacific Department in 2000. In her current role, Lisa serves as an observer on the Scaling-up Renewable Energy Programme (SREP) of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) and represents TI at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, the International Panel on Climate Change, and the Global Environmental Facility NGO Network. She directs the advocacy programme of AdaptationWatch and serves as advisor to the Adaptation Fund NGO Network. Prior to TI, she worked for the Japanese Parliament, the Asia Crime Prevention Foundation, UN Asia and Far East Institute for the Prevention of Crime and Treatment of Offenders. She is now pursuing her PhD at the Environment and Policy Research Institute at Berlin’s Freie Universität. She graduated at the International Christian University (Tokyo, Japan) in 1993 and completed her LL.M in international human rights law at the University of Essex (UK) in 1997
