18th UN Climate Change Conference
This year’s UN climate conference gets underway in Doha, Qatar on 26 November. Our climate team will be there, pushing for stronger anti-corruption provisions in climate policy-making and financing.

Governing Climate Finance: Designing Laws and Policies for Improved Transparency, Integrity & Results

Organised by the Centre for International Sustainable Development Law, Yale University and the International Development Law Organization, this workshop brings together scholars, practitioners and policy-makers to discuss the opportunities and challenges for designing laws and policies to govern climate finance mechanisms and improve their transparency, integrity and results at local, national, and international scales.
Promoting Development Effectiveness of Climate Finance: Civil Society Organisations on the Building Block on Climate Finance

The Busan Building Block on Climate Finance and Development Effectiveness is a voluntary partnership aimed at promoting broad-based collaboration and coherence in delivering climate finance transparently and effectively. This roundtable discussion will present the results of a global mapping of civil society initiatives for improving the development effectiveness of climate change finance.
Forest Day Market Place

This is an interactive session allowing civil society organisations to discuss their engagement with the Reducing Emissions through Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) scheme. As part of the proceedings, Transparency International will present its new manual, Keeping REDD+ clean.
