Description: The Independent Accountability Mechanisms Outreach Event provides a valuable opportunity for the IAMs of the international financial institutions (including the World Bank, European Investment Bank) to share information about their work, and to listen to the views and concerns of civil society.

    The relation between COP 21 and IAMs – on the basis of the on-going work of Transparency International this panel will address the grievance/accountability policies of the specific Climate Change financial flows as e.g. the Green Climate Fund and the other UNFCCC funds.

    Protecting complainants and whistle-blowers – on the basis of the Human Rights Watch recent report, “At Your Own Risk: Reprisals against Critics of World Bank Group Projects”.
