In the United Nations Convention against Corruption’s first full year in force, nations continued to sign on to this powerful signal of global commitment. The African Union Anti-Corruption Convention’s entry into force bolstered Africa’s fight against corruption, and the Guatemala Declaration for a Corruption-Free Region, signed by eight Central American presidents and official representatives, was a vital expression of political will in that pivotal region. Multilateral and bilateral development institutions moved to debar corrupt companies; donors increased their cooperation in improving aid accountability and supporting reforms to increase transparency and integrity. ### Related publications ## [Annual Report 2025](https://www.transparency.org/en/publications/annual-report-2025) Publication • 17 July 2026 In 2025, Transparency International pursued its mission to stop corruption and promote transparency, accountability and integrity at all levels and across all sectors of society. ## [Annual Report 2024](https://www.transparency.org/en/publications/annual-report-2024) Publication • 07 May 2025 In 2024, Transparency International led the fight against corruption around the world. ## [Annual Report 2023](https://www.transparency.org/en/publications/annual-report-2023) Publication • 08 August 2024 In 2023, Transparency International led the global fight against corruption around the world, impacting communities and strengthening anticorruption measures. ## [Annual Report 2022](https://www.transparency.org/en/publications/annual-report-2022) Publication • 13 June 2023 Transparency International's annual report for 2022 presents the leading movement in the fight against corruption. ![](https://images.transparencycdn.org/images/AR_2006_EN_116.jpg?auto=compress&fit=crop&fm=webp&w=1200) [Download](https://images.transparencycdn.org/images/2006_AnnualReport_EN.pdf)
