Der National-Integrity-System (NIS)-Bericht bietet einen breiten Überblick über die Antikorruptionsbemühungen in einem Land. In der Bundesrepublik Deutschland liegen sämtliche untersuchten Bereiche und Institutionen in Staat und Gesellschaft in den oberen Bereichen des NIS-Bewertungsschemas. Deutschland ist ein Land mit einem insgesamt guten bis sehr guten Integritätssystem zur Korruptionsprävention und –repression gemäß der NIS-Methodologie. Trotz der insgesamt guten bis sehr guten Situation sieht Transparency Deutschland in den analysierten Sektoren und Institutionen Verbesserungsmöglichkeiten und Handlungsnotwendigkeiten.
