But deciding what to buy, at what price and from whom is a difficult job. Healthcare providers need access to stocks of several hundred medicines and a wide range of non-durable goods, which are all continually depleted and must be renewed. Healthcare and public procurement both suffer from high levels of corruption. ### Related publications ## [Annual Report 2025](https://www.transparency.org/en/publications/annual-report-2025) Publication • 17 July 2026 In 2025, Transparency International pursued its mission to stop corruption and promote transparency, accountability and integrity at all levels and across all sectors of society. ## [Accelerating Action Against Criminal and Corrupt Wealth: Recommendations for the London Illicit Finance Summit](https://www.transparency.org/en/publications/recommendations-london-illicit-finance-summit) Publication • 28 May 2026 This paper sets out recommendations on how governments participating in the UK Illicit Finance Summit can deliver credible and ambitious outcomes. ## [Corruption Perceptions Index 2025](https://www.transparency.org/en/publications/corruption-perceptions-index-2025) Publication • 10 February 2026 The Corruption Perceptions Index scores 182 countries and territories by their perceived levels of public sector corruption, according to experts and business people. ## [Regulating Legitimate Interest Access: Measures to ensure meaningful access to beneficial ownership registers for public-interest stakeholders](https://www.transparency.org/en/publications/legitimate-interest-measures-for-public-interest-stakeholders) Publication • 30 September 2025 Anonymous companies and trusts continue to be vehicles of choice for those seeking to hide and move illicit money. ## Priorities - [Public procurement](https://www.transparency.org/en/our-priorities/public-procurement) ![](https://images.transparencycdn.org/images/2017_G20PositionPaper_HealthOpenContracts_EN_116.jpg?auto=compress&fit=crop&fm=webp&w=1200) [Download](https://images.transparencycdn.org/images/2017_G20PositionPaper_HealthOpenContracts_EN.pdf)
