Transparency International to launch Bribe Payers Index 2006** **4 October 2006 9:00 GMT** *New Index ranks 30 leading exporting countries by propensity of firms to bribe abroad* The Bribe Payers Index 2006, now in its third edition, ranks the propensity of firms from 30 exporting countries to bribe abroad. It is based on the World Economic Forum’s Executive Opinion Survey. The survey was commissioned by Transparency International, the global civil society organisation leading the fight against corruption.
