Transparency International UK’s Defence and Security Programme is looking for a full-time Programme Administrator to commence in June/July 2013. The position will be based in our London offices.
Transparency International (TI) is the civil society organisation leading the global fight against corruption. Through more than 90 national chapters worldwide and an international secretariat in Berlin, Germany, TI raises awareness of the damaging effects of corruption, and works with partners in government, business and civil society to develop and implement effective measures to tackle it.
The International Defence and Security Programme (DSP) is Transparency International’s programme dedicated to fighting corruption in the defence and security sector globally. It is based with Transparency International-UK in London. The team is now looking for a Programme Administrator. This position plays a key role in supporting almost all of TI DSP’s work. In addition, the person liaises with the programme’s external advisors, supports our monitoring and evaluation activities, assists with the team’s travel arrangements, maintains the contact database and manages the office environment. This position reports to the Programme Manager.

- demonstrated experience in office administration and stakeholder relations
- high level of IT competence (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, email essential; Salesforce desirable)

- a proactive, flexible and patient approach
- a team player; ability to multi-task and prioritise
- proven ability to work to tight deadlines, and a self-starter attitude
- familiarity with an international non-profit / charity helpful but not required
