This report is an addendum to a NIS assessment for Ireland published in 2009 by Transparency International Ireland. As a supplement to the original country study, this report provides an update on the current status of Ireland’s integrity system as well as taking stock of progress since 2009. It examines the principal institutions responsible for enhancing integrity and combating corruption in Ireland. These institutions comprise ‘pillars’ believed to make up the integrity system of the country.
