This publication explains the contents and the monitoring mechanisms of the various anticorruption conventions in the Americas, focusing on the Interamerican Convention against Corruption and the United Nations Convention against Corruption, and the ways in which civil society may participate. It also provides guidelines on how to plan, from the civil society level, an incidence strategy to foster effective compliance with the conventions.
