Third Round of Review for Follow-up to the OAS Anti-Corruption Convention

The Third Round of review as follow-up to the Inter-American Convention against Corruption (IACAC) has begun. Between 2009-2011, new and important anticorruption measures will be reviewed and the extent to which each of the countries has implemented the recommendations issued in the first round will also be evaluated.

Below we have provided links to the most noteworthy information about this Third Round, such as the methodology used, opportunities for civil society involvement, and ideas about how to harness the content of the reports to lobby in each country. We hope that the information proves useful to any and all civil society organizations that would like to be actively involved in the citizen oversight efforts undertaken for the Convention. Likewise, we hope that all those interested in accessing clear-cut information about the IACAC and its Follow-up Mechanism can also benefit from such.
