Africa and Middle East Studies and Reports
Creating, maintaining and disseminating an accurate and up-to-date body of information related to the fight against corruption is one of the most important roles TI plays. Here you will find our most current, and archived country studies and reports on corruption.
Global Corruption Reports
Transparency International publishes the Global Corruption Report (GCR), an annual assessment of the state of corruption around the world. The GCR brings together leading experts and practitioners to analyse current issues, new challenges and solutions in the area of corruption. The report includes a thematic section presenting an in-depth analysis of one key corruption issue. While the current GCR turns its attention to the water sector, previous report covered judicial corruption (2007), corruption and the health sector (2006), corruption in construction and post-conflict reconstruction (2005), political corruption (2004), and access to information (2003).
An overview of analysis and articles about the different corruption-related topics in the Africa and Middle East region is given below. General information about the Global Corruption Report can be found on TI's publications page.
