Transparency International is engaged in the fight against corruption on many fronts. In addition to the Corruption Perceptions Index, Transparency International's other global research enables a better understanding of the many sides of corruption.

Please see our Publications pages for a full listing of reports, research and tools available for download.

Global Corruption Barometer
Worldwide public opinion survey of 73,000 people in 69 countries and territories, measuring their attitudes towards and their experience of corruption in their home countries.

Bribe Payers Index
Ranking of 22 leading international and regional exporting countries by the tendency of firms based in those countries to bribe when doing business abroad.

National Integrity System studies
Assessment of the political, institutional, social, and economic governance foundations of a given country. The NIS approach provides a framework which anti-corruption organisations can use to analyse both the extent and causes of corruption in a country as well as the effectiveness of national anti-corruption efforts.

Transparency in Reporting on Anti-Corruption (TRAC)
Assesses the extent to which some 500 leading global companies report on the strategy, policies, and management systems they have in place for combating bribery and corruption. TRAC is based on the premise that disclosure of these measures is key to improved corporate transparency, which in turn underpins good corporate governance.
