Transparency International Media Briefing at OECD High-Level Conference

Berlin, 20 November 2007

Transparency International Chair Huguette Labelle will participate in a high-level conference to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the OECD’s Anti-Bribery Convention. The conference will be attended by Ministers and High Level representatives from the 37 signatory countries to the Convention, together with international experts and representatives from emerging economies.

Huguette Labelle and Fritz Heimann, Senior Advisor to TI, will talk about the extent to which political commitment is being followed up by action. Ten years down the road, have countries done enough to win the fight against foreign bribery?
