Launching the TI Sourcebook in English, Russian, Arabic and Spanish

at Omni Shoreham Hotel (Ambassador Ballroom), Washington D.C.

Washington, 02 October 1996

Transparency International at the IMF/World Bank Annual Meetings is launching its Sourcebook as a major first step to establishing a meaningful agenda for reforms to reduce corruption. It is published against a background of increased international concern and increased national action by groups in civil society. Corruption is expected to feature prominently in the address by World Bank president James Wolfensohn when he opens the weeklong annual meetings.
