9th Meeting of the High-Level Group on EFA

Each year, the High-Level Group brings together Heads of State or Government and some thirty Ministers of Education and of International Cooperation, heads of development agencies and representatives of civil society and the private sector.

Its role is to:

• maintain and reinforce political momentum in favour of EFA
• recommend priorities to accelerate progress
• highlight leading challenges
• leverage more resources for basic education
