Three new reports on Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia show need to strengthen governance in the fight against corruption
Transparency International (TI), the global anti-corruption organisation, will release three reports that assess how well Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia have adhered to their anti-corruption commitments as part of the European Union’s European Neighbourhood Policy.
The reports European Neighbourhood Policy: monitoring anti-corruption commitments asses the progress made on reforms in the judiciary and reforms in the public sector, and whether each country is complying with international anti-corruption conventions. All countries have made some progress, but the reports show not all anti-corruption reforms are being fully implemented.

Note to editors: The reports are the first three in a series of monitoring reports conducted by TI on anti-corruption and governance commitments made by governments in their EU Action Plans within the European Neighbourhood Policy. On 11 May, the European Commission will publish its own annual reviews of the implementation of Action Plans of these countries.
