Submit a problem statement
The solutions begin with a problem statement: why not submit one?
The hackathon relies on 'problem statements' from Transparency International chapters, and members of the public.
Wherever possible, we recommend that you contact the national chapter in your country to discuss submitting a problem statement.
To find your local chapter, visit this link, click 'Transparency International where you are' on the left, and choose a country.
If you are unable to contact a chapter, you may also submit a problem statement directly to hac@transparency.org.
Two steps to submit a 'problem statement'
- Read the 'Guidelines for submitting problem statements'. They provide useful context, include examples of good statements, and explain the criteria upon which submissions will be judged.
- Complete the 'Problem statement form' and email it to your local Transparency International chapter, or to the email address mentioned above.
Download the guidlines and the form here: EN | ES
Submissions will be reviewed for completeness before they are added to this website.
