Reporting corruption
People are afraid to publicly stand up against corruption and there is limited space where they can do so. We therefore want to create an accessible online platform that will provide Cambodian citizens with the opportunity to fight against corruption and promote integrity.

This platform will increase citizen participation and ultimately create more public demands for better governance.

In Cambodia, more than 80% of the population have access to a mobile phone and 7% of citizens are active online and social media users. Although this is only a small online population, the majority are young people who play significant roles in the social reform movements and this application will provide an opportunity for them to engage. The application will be deployed in multi-platform such as Web Application, Android, iOS, Windows Mobile and others. It will be available in two languages; Khmer (Unicode with UTF8 Support) and English.

Our primary target audiences and direct beneficiaries are the 7% of Cambodian people with access to computers, the Internet, smartphones and tablets. Indirectly, it is hoped that these people will in turn help the wider community to participate as well.

The platform will be integrated into ALAC projects and used to provide public services where local people can gain information from TI Cambodia, such as administrative services fees, corruption complaints submission, and updated information about corruption. They can  anonymously share corruption complaints, photos, and videos to the public via the application without showing their identify.
