The countries and national chapters in the Europe and Central Asia (ECA) region are grouped into three sub-regions: European Union+ (EU), South Eastern Europe (SEE) and the Commonwealth of Independent States and Mongolia (CIS).
The grouping of countries in each sub-region is not based on political or geographic reasons. This also explains why Bulgaria, Slovenia and Romania are still grouped in SEE, although they have joined the EU.

The work in each sub-region is coordinated by a programme coordinator at the TI Secretariat in Berlin. For the contact information of a particular TI national chapter, please use the alphabetical index below.
